Technical Specialist
6 month contract
Remote
Up to 65 an hour
Responsibilities:
As part of a contract position, the agency Technical Specialist will support, analyze and assist in product data maintenance at the part number level for sustaining Aerospace, Defense, and Marine connector system products. Technical Specialist should specialize in electrical connectors and components, and understand chemical substances as it relates to REACH, RoHS, PFAS, Prop 65, TSCA / POP environmental compliance requirements. The Technical Specialist is responsible for completion of assigned engineering projects within scheduling guidelines. They plan, prioritize, and manage multiple technical related tasks in product environmental compliance coding such that product data is accurate, timely, and properly documented in TE Product Compliance database systems. The Technical Specialist will prioritize tasks to ensure the directing Product Engineering resources are used effectively and the Technical Specialist is flexible to ensure that project deadlines are met. Requirement:
Associates Degree at a bare minimum
5+ Years of experience with mechanically tech operations
Demonstrated SAP Proficiency
3 years experience with Product Environmental Compliance coding for REACH, RoHS, Prop 65, POP, TSCA, PFAS, etc.
