Location: Remote (US Based)
Compensation: $120-135K Annual Salary

The Analytics & Data Warehouse Solutions Architect, Senior is a senior member of IT who has overall responsibility and accountability for the architecture, design, development, release, and maintenance of data warehouse, business intelligence and other applicable systems. They are positioned to make a significant impact on the company's ability to apply cutting edge techniques in solving complex analytical challenges.
The incumbent works closely with all constituents to identify and maximize opportunities for using data warehouse systems to improve business processes, promote the strategic use of information technology, and enable analysts and management to use these systems for improved, timely decision making.
This role will leverage industry best practices to ensure the data assets of Company are supported by standards and a data architecture that aids the organization in achieving its strategic goals.
Major Duties and Responsibilities (% of Time)1. Serves as an expert resource on matters of data architecture to business and IT staff in all phases of data warehouse development, implementation, and support. Identify, evaluate and recommend new technologies or techniques which will advance business intelligence capabilities within IT and Business. 20%
2. Maintain the environment including administration of BI Tools (such as MicroStrategy, OBIEE), production support, periodic user reviews, managing change requests, and prioritizing and overseeing the implementation. 30%
3. Responsible for designing data models which integrate heterogeneous data from a variety of data sources and cohesively supports BI technologies. Provides source system analysis from the operation systems for the purpose of data mapping requirements to support ETL/ELT development. Develops and maintains standards across architecture, management, dictionary and metadata. 30%
4. Collaborate with all levels of Business or ITS (Executive through Business unit) to gather and document requirements / objectives then translate them to strategic/tactical business plans and systems development. 20%

Minimum Requirement Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field and/or relevant equivalent experience.
• 8-10 years of IT experience, including business process design, development, implementation and maintenance of multiple business systems.
• 5-7 years of demonstrated Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse (BI/DW)experience involving multiple major development projects.
• 5-7 years of hands on experience with a major BI tools (OBIEE, MicroStrategy (preferred), Business Objects, Qlikview, Tableau etc)
• Be able to demonstrate the following technical leadership skills:
Preferred Requirement: - Successfully developed and implemented new technologies and work processes.
- Demonstrated high competency in leading small teams of global (on-shore and off-shore) resources.
- Gained experience in leading high-performance teams implementing BI/DW projects.
- Demonstrated competency in defining requirements, design, development, and testing IT projects.
- Experience in project planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of integrated online relational database systems across multiple hardware and software platforms.
- Experience in deploying an Enterprise Portal and utilizing Business Intelligence tools.
- Experience in the consumer products industry preferred, or in a production/service environment similar to that of Company.
