Our public accounting client is looking for a Senior Tax Manager

Under the direction of the Tax Partners, this position works on a range of tax files and tax planning engagements, helps clients with a range of tax matters, conducts research and offers technical support, finds and resolves file issues, and supports the practice's marketing campaigns. In addition, the person manages and develops tax employees and will manage the Client.
Duties
- reviewing income tax returns for individuals, corporations, tax planning engagements for High net worth.
- providing inbound advisory services to Local and international cross-border clients
- managing processes and procedures during tax season
- conducting research for internal use and client needs
- drafting correspondence for internal use, client engagements, and tax authorities
- identifying technical issues, researching, proposing, and implementing solutions
- participating in the analysis of new legislation
- preparing and presenting professional development seminars
- coaching and mentoring staff members, assigning tasks
- actively participating in all of the aforementioned roles.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of eight years of tax experience in a public accounting company, with least one of those years spent as a Senior manager
- Completion of the In-Depth Tax Program and CPA designation
- Proficiency in CaseWare and Tax Preparation
- Knowledge of owner-managed clients
- Superb communication skills in both written and spoken English
- Capacity to communicate information clearly and reply to inquiries from parties or clients
- Capacity to resolve realistic and intricate issues
- Research and data collection abilities
- Capabilities in an organization to prioritize tasks, streamline processes, and fulfill deadlines
- A strong dedication to quality is required.
- Capacity to assume a leading position during interactions
- Excellent comprehension of commercial professionalism and the capacity to collaborate with others in a group setting
