Salesforce Inc. seeks MTS Software Engineer in San Francisco, CA:
Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. The software engineer role at Salesforce encompasses architecture, design, implementation, and testing to ensure the products are built right and release them with high quality. Architect, design, implement, test and deliver highly scalable products. Master the salesforce development process, culture and code base, then improve it. Operate effectively in the hybrid engineering model where engineers are expected to be able to design and execute the necessary work to ensure quality in their own code as well as other engineers. Mentor others in development technologies, tools, and processes. Present my own designs to internal/external groups and review designs of others. Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, write unit/functional tests to drive up code coverage and automation metrics. Participate in the team’s on-call rotation to address complex problems in real-time and keep services operational and highly available. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and three (3) months of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java; (2) Python; (3) Spark (4) Golang; (5) Spring; (6) Git; (7) Docker; (8) React.js; (9) Hbase; (10) Pytorch; and (11) SQL. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
