Network Architect

• Develops infrastructure networking solutions to support complex operational, procedural, and/or cloud environment strategic objectives by providing technical direction and ensuring availability, performance, and scalability of enterprise-wide components.

Required Qualifications

• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Six (6) years of progressive experience in data and voice network communications and/or data center/colocation and cloud architecture, two (2) years of which shall have been designing and managing complex networking infrastructure projects some of which include data center technologies.
• Knowledge of the theory, principles, and practices of network engineering and architecture.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies for enterprise design and integration and system design and implementation practices.
• Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, zero-trust and topologies.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Ability to define, develop, and lead in the formation and implementation of modern on-premise and colocation data center and cloud infrastructure architectures.
• Ability to write reports, specifications, contract documents, and formulate life-cycle projections.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
