Job description
Adecco Search has partnered with an industry-leading, global, manufacturer to recruit and hire a full time Project Engineer in Nashville,TN. (Full Relocation is available)
The Project Engineer will lead plant projects and be responsible for planning, forecasting, resourcing, and monitoring project functions to ensure accuracy and quality.
Developing scope and parameters for project design and implementation.
Identifying project responsibilities and delegating tasks and deliverables to the appropriate personnel.
Forecasting expenditures and materials and acquiring necessary resources to complete project on time.
Developing and controlling the full project-plan lifecycle and ensuring timely completion by preparing, scheduling, and coordinating each phase of the project(s).
Performing quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans) and reporting progress regularly.
Determining project specifications, monitoring progress, and initiating corrective action plans if necessary.
Assigning responsibilities and providing leadership and direction to the project team.
Ensuring compliance to standards, codes, practices, QA/QC policies, and specifications
Calculating costs, tracking expenses, and ensuring project is completed within budget.
Working with internal and external parties to develop business proposals, project statements, and financial terms/conditions of contracts.
Interacting with clients and reviewing project needs, costs, and progress.
Overseeing Project Team and subcontractors.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar field required
5+ years of relative project management/engineering experience is required
Proficiency with engineering tools/software
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
Annual base salary in the $85k-95k range
