Job Description
- Analyze, prepare, review and interpret Land and Right of Way related agreements, deeds, easements, leases, permits and licenses.
- Review and utilize a GIS mapping program such as Google Earth
- Assist in Real Estate closings.
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in working with spreadsheets and other task tracking software.
- Review electric distribution lines for real estate interests.
- Research and review of real property related documents.
- Ability to understand and interpret easement agreements.
- Support translation of data from Right of Way documents into the stakeholder management database
- Complete document research as needed.
- Manage and prioritize workload.
- Support project managers, design engineers, environmental consultants, GIS mapping specialists, vegetation management team, Right of Way managers and real estate coordinators as required.
- Support client needs as directed.
- Efficient at working independently as well as in team environment.
- Capable of working with a diverse skill set in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage a client relationship.
Skills Required
- Working knowledge of general real estate law
- Experience on electric distribution grid preferred.
- Negotiation skills
- Understanding of or ability to learn real estate title work.
- Strong attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in working with spreadsheets and other task tracking software.
- Capable of working with diverse skill sets in fast paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Team player focused on client service.
- Well organized and able to simultaneously pursue and track multiple project efforts.
- Experience with Google Earth and familiarity with construction drawings is preferred but not required.
- Designation from IRWA preferred.
Education/Training/Certifications
- Staff Level - requires Bachelor’s Degree. Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. Minimum of 4 years relevant experience
- Senior Level - requires Bachelor’s Degree. Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. Minimum 8 years related experience.
- Ohio Real Estate License preferred but not required.
Additional Requirements
- Overtime is anticipated for this role.
- Candidate needs to pass drug screening.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must meet standards to qualify for and maintain the Company’s vehicle driving privileges.
Pay Rate/Salary
- Base Compensation: $32/hour - $50/hour (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location.)
