Qualifications:
- Educational Requirement: Bachelor of Science in Accounting
- Technical Skills: Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel capabilities
Responsibilities:
- Daily Financial Tracking: Conduct daily monitoring and reconciliation of sales data for business units, ensuring alignment with bank deposits and resolving any discrepancies by making accurate journal entries.
- Payroll Administration: Facilitate the bi-weekly payroll process for 50 employees across three different entities, address discrepancies in payroll, and resolve any related issues with financial institutions.
- Financial Closing Activities: Play an active role in period-end close procedures, including performing account reconciliations, executing closing journal entries, and conducting variance analysis in partnership with the financial controller.
- Accounts Payable Oversight: Manage the accounts payable process from invoice entry to adjustments, reconcile instant payments for inventory with bank records, maintain positive vendor relationships, and carry out routine payment disbursements through checks and ACH.
Compensation:
- The salary for this role is projected to be within the $60,000 to $70,000 range annually.
