What You'll Be Working On:
The Business Operations Manager will be at the heart of driving Foundation Alloy's strategic initiatives across
supply chains, marketing, business development, finance and HR - optimizing our operational processes, and ensuring the seamless execution of projects. This role requires a unique blend of analytical thinking, strategic planning, and hands-on operational management. You'll be working closely with our leadership team to implement best practices, drive efficiency, and contribute to our overall growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business strategies that align with our overall mission and objectives
- Analyze current operational processes and performance, identifying areas for improvement and innovation
- Lead and manage key projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget including: investor presentations, business development, real estate planning, supply chain operations, government proposals, and data analysis
- Serve as a bridge between the management team and operational staff, facilitating clear communication and effective collaboration
- Establish and monitor performance metrics to track progress and outcomes of operational initiatives
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback and innovative ideas from all levels of the organization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role blending management consulting, project management, and business operations, ideally within a startup environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of improving operational efficiency.
- Excellent project management abilities with experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategies into actionable plans.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse team members and stakeholders.
- Agile and adaptable to a fast-paced, ever-changing startup environment
Preferred Skills:
- Master’s degree or an MBA a plus
- Prior management consulting experience, investment banking, or business operations in early-stage tech, or related experience
- Advanced data analysis, modeling, and presentation-building
