School Nurse Benefits * No Weekends or Holidays * Weekly payroll via Direct Deposit * Opportunities for advancement Responsibilities * Positionavailable in Merrillville schools. * Hours are 7:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday. * Provide care for students and faculty. * Provide medication administration, assessment, and treatment, such as first aide. * Collaborate with teachers and school team members to provide a healthy environment for learning. * Monitor patient’s condition and notify parents and appropriate personnel of any changes. * Assure proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws. * Adhere to compliance guidelines throughout processes (OSHA, FDA, HIPAA).
