Job Summary
For those interested in Plant Breeding Research Intern role, then this is the perfect job for you. The Plant Breeding Research intern program is designed to give a broad-based exposure to the day-to-day activities of a research program.
Job Description
- Interns in the program will be expected to participate in all aspects of the research center activities including planting, plot maintenance, data collection, harvesting and could travel to other locations to help on specific field related tasks.
- The individual will be involved with field plot research, planting, plot establishment and maintenance, organizing and completing herbicide, fungicide, and insecticide treatment, harvesting, and analyzing samples and data collection.
- A key component of the position will be the collection of high-quality data on specific traits being examined by the Company.
- Individual wanting to learn more about field research trials related to crop hybrid cultivar development. Farm background beneficial. Individual must display a high degree of self-motivation, self-initiative and ability to work well with others. Good communication and interpersonal skills along with strong computer aptitude are essential.

Education/Training/Certification
- Bachelor Science/Agronomy students that want to get experience in field work.
Additional Requirements
- Schedule is susceptible to change, but most of the time Worker will start at 7 AM, ending at 3:30 PM. This time includes half hour for lunch. We will pay extra-hours when is necessary.
Pay Rate/Salary
- $17.00 per hour
