Become an Auto Glass Technician Trainee at Safelite and take the first step towards becoming a certified auto glass technician. Our team of expert installers will train you in glass installations, repairs, and car safety system recalibration. As a Technician Trainee, you will:
- Receive paid hands-on and classroom training, learning the Safelite way
- Install and repair auto glass
- Recalibrate automotive safety systems
- Provide additional services and products
- Pass testing to become a Safelite-certified Technician, demonstrating your proficiency in installations, positive attitude, and adherence to taught techniques
- Safely operate a company vehicle and use company-issued tools
What you'll get:
- Competitive weekly pay starting at $25/hour, increasing to $27/hour after training and certification
- $5 for each set of wiper blades added for customer safety

- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid state-issued driver’s license required
- Comfortable working outside in varying weather conditions and being on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to work scheduled days with flexibility on start and end times to accommodate customer needs
- Ability to regularly lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- High school diploma/GED/equivalent preferred; ability to read and write
