Job description

Job Title: IT Support Specialist (Temporary-ongoing )

Location: Goleta ( ONSITE )

Pay: $27-30 per hour

Hours: 30-40 hours per week

Duration : Temporary long term

The Ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of our technology infrastructure.

MUST HAVES REQUIREMENTS

-Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support with a deep understanding of Microsoft Azure - SharePoint.
-Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts

Responsibilities:

-Provide agency-wide technical support, including installation, configuration, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer hardware, peripherals, and software.
-Proactively manage the desktop environment, coordinating installations, maintenance, and upgrades.
-Develop and conduct user-level training on new software and systems to facilitate user understanding and adoption.
-Troubleshoot system problems, perform preventive maintenance, and diagnose/repair hardware breakdowns, coordinating outside IT vendor support as needed.
-Assist in the development and execution of projects for upgrades, installations, and maintenance.
-Communicate frequently with users about the current status of problems/issues.
-Utilize strong knowledge of company-wide cloud computing and networking technologies.
-Demonstrate expertise in desktop operating systems, particularly Microsoft Office 365 and related products.

Requirements:

-Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support with a deep understanding of Microsoft Azure - SharePoint.
-Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
-Proficiency in Windows and/or Mac operating systems.
-Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
