We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our chiropractic clinic as a Chiropractic Assistant. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic and providing exceptional support to our chiropractors and patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a genuine passion for helping others improve their well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist chiropractors in providing patient care by preparing treatment rooms and ensuring they are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Greet patients and help them feel comfortable, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit.
- Schedule and manage patient appointments using our electronic appointment system, ensuring efficient patient flow and minimizing wait times.
- Collect patient information, including medical history, symptoms, and vital signs, and enter it accurately into the electronic health records system.
- Prepare patients for chiropractic treatments, including assisting with therapies, positioning patients for adjustments, and educating patients on treatment procedures.
- Perform administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, filing patient records, and handling insurance-related paperwork.
- Process payments and handle billing procedures, including verifying insurance coverage, explaining fees to patients, and accurately recording financial transactions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including disinfecting treatment rooms, common areas, and equipment according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with the chiropractic team to coordinate patient care and ensure a seamless experience for patients.
- Continuously update knowledge of chiropractic procedures, techniques, and industry trends to provide accurate information to patients and assist with patient education.
