We are currently seeking a Neuroscience Research Program Coordinator with the National Institutes of Health in Rockville, MD.

POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Neuroscience Research Program Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This position requires expertise in neuroscience, pharmacology, or molecular biology and focuses on providing scientific support in the planning, coordination, evaluation, and communication of neuroscience research programs. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing and performing detailed analysis of scientific and administrative factors affecting research programs.
TASKS. The contractor shall:
Research and evaluate the operations of the organization's scientific programs in neuroscience.
Communicate with principal investigators, program staff, and others on scientific and programmatic issues.
Contribute to the development, initiation, and execution of new project initiatives in neuroscience.
Organize, maintain, and track project documentation and communications using project management tools.
Review, proofread, and track programmatic documents related to neuroscience and management issues.
Conduct literature searches in PubMed, Web of Science, and manage references using bibliographic software.
Compile data and create presentations, including tables, graphs, and slides for scientific and programmatic meetings.
Attend and support logistics for scientific meetings, training, and conferences.
Represent the program at meetings, deliver presentations, and disseminate program details.
Participate in planning and organizing technical meetings and consultations in neuroscience research.
Review and evaluate the performance of neuroscience research programs, facilitating improved communication and shared processes.
Provide project management support for large and/or complex neuroscience projects.
Analyze existing scientific programs and make recommendations for improvements in neuroscience research.
Develop and prepare various scientific reports, organizing and writing project reports and scientific papers.
REQUIREMENTS. The contractor must have:
Master's degree in Neuroscience, Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific field.
Proficiency in software tools such as Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, and Word.
Strong writing skills, with the ability to produce reports, agendas, and communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
Experience in project management and familiarity with scientific research processes and methodologies.
