Job description
Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Precision hand grind industrial knives using grinding wheel to specified dimensions and shapes
- Set up and operate various grinding machines such as: wet grinder, belt grinder, cut off saw, polisher or auto grinder
- Ability to work with hands, have good eye-hand coordination and mechanically inclined
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and stand, walk, reach, and bend frequently throughout the day
- Other duties assigned as deemed necessary
Requirements:
- Candidate must be dependable and self-motivated, looking for stable, long-term work
- Ability to work in a team setting as well as independently
- 1-3 years of knife grinding experience a plus, 1 year manufacturing experience required
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Valid Driver’s License required
