The candidate requires a combination of purchasing, financial and business management skills sufficient to lead the managed groups to higher levels of performance. A solid understanding of purchasing systems, supplier development and the technical aspect of manufacturing processes are essential to success. The candidate must be capable of promoting and selling concepts at all levels of the organization through sound analysis and business judgment.

Sourcing Specialist
Responsibilities
Source and negotiate key core products through analytics, negotiations and interpersonal skills with multiple sources of supply.
Identify supply risks and make recommendations for alternates.
Develop and manage the supplier down selection process while evaluating supplier capabilities to meet company objectives.
Provide support in developing RFQ/RFP with key individuals in cross functional departments.
Monitor industry trends and developments to identify new sourcing opportunities.
Ensures compliance to XALT and FBPS Terms & Conditions, Code of Conduct, Supplier Quality Manual, Conflict Minerals and Regulatory Compliance.
Maintain current costing and communicate cost opportunities when identified.
Thorough understanding of procurement and sourcing from prototype to production.
Ability to comprehend complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various facts.
Domestic and/or international travel required. Travel approximately 10 - 30%.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
Demonstrated sourcing and basic procurement understanding, skills and experience.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to communicate / interface across all organizational levels.
High energy, good presence and team player
Preferred Qualifications
1-3 years of strategic sourcing experience in Engineering Procurement or Project Environment.
