Responsibilities
Underwrites risks: interviews prospective clients and inspects physical aspects of risks.
Ensures applications are accurate and complete.
Re-underwrite current risks.
Submits and maintains marketing plans.
Attend agency and company meetings.
Performs related duties as required.
RequirementsAbility to perform technical skills related to selling personal lines accounts.
Communication/telephone skills.
Computer skills.
Personal lines rating skills.
Ability to manage time to perform duties.
Currently has and will maintain a Pennsylvania Property/Casualty license and Life/Health license.
Ability to build favorable working relationships with clients, agency, and company personnel.
Remain current on insurance laws and company procedures.
Attainment of industry designations related to area of work performed.
