About the Job
Tailored Brands’ Enterprise Analytics team is central to our data-forward strategy, driving insights into every aspect of our business, supporting stakeholders across the organization, and creating a legendary customer experience.
Our Enterprise Analytics team is seeking a Director, Ecommerce and Omni Merchandising Analytics who will lead the analytical and data science efforts to support our business stakeholders in developing and implementing Ecommerce strategy and data-driven merchandising planning. In this role, you will respond to solve complex business analytics requests and partner closely with senior leaders across various domains to drive growth and provide thought leadership. In addition, you will leverage your analytics and team leadership skills to coach, guide and mentor team members so that they stay in critical path. You are also expected to present the findings and recommendations to stakeholders and executive committees.
What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities
- Directly manage and support an analytics team (both onsite and offshore). You inspire a high standard on the team for relevant and timely insights, model best practices, and lead with empathy.
- Partner with Ecommerce and merchandising stakeholders, delivering actionable strategic and tactical recommendations in a consultative approach to support business objectives.
- Measure the success of site initiatives, AB testing results and digging into the trends to understand what’s working and where opportunities lie.
- Own the analytics outcomes for funnel optimization, seamless customer omni journey, and localized omni merchandising initiatives, partnering with the business stakeholders to define and prioritize a roadmap as well as execute to plan.
- Define an overall merchandising strategies through customer segments and overlay their purchase cycles into Omni customer activation programs and ultimately optimize customer lifetime value.
- Collaborate with data science colleagues to develop a roadmap of prediction and optimization capabilities to improve Ecommerce growth and Omni Merchandising efficiency.
- Develop and streamline reporting and dashboards. Identify what metrics matter as you craft elegant reports and proactively monitor them. Improve data sources and automate processes so that you can maximize time spent on high value ad-hoc pursuits.
- Collaborate with colleagues in Data Engineering to develop ongoing improvements to data quality, standardized definitions, governance, tools, and approaches.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously based on what is most impactful to the business and our customers.
- Present analyses in a clear, interpretable, and applicable way that can be shared widely, communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical partners.
- Partner across Analytics to share learnings, align on methodologies and leverage best practices.
What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field like Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Operations Research, or Industrial Engineering, or relevant experience. Master’s degree preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in marketing and customer analytics, with progressive responsibility initiating, executing, and presenting insights from analytics for cross-functional teams.
- 8+ years of experience in the retail industry
- 8+ years of experience directly managing people.
- Fluent with complex SQL queries and dataset transformations on large datasets.
- Experience in Google Analytics and attribution techniques. GTM experience a plus
- Analyzing competitor data - researching top competitors and gaining insight into their strengths, weaknesses, products, and marketing strategies
- Deep experience in advanced data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio, Tableau, or Power BI which allow you to create rich dashboards and derive insights.
- Experience with marketing channel data feeds and the common problems that they experience.
- Exposure to a variety of advanced analytics projects and use cases that apply methods like decision science, optimization, supervised and unsupervised learning, and forecasting with the intent of recognizing when they may add value for stakeholders.
- Experience to A/B testing process, outcomes, and tools (Qubit, Optimizely, etc.)
- Demonstrated project management skills - comfortable working in Scrum, Kanban approaches, and traditional PM practices. Experience with JIRA, GitHub, Confluence tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; act as a bridge among business, analytics and Data engineering teams.
- Proven ability of delivering highly complex analytics projects involving methodology development, analysis, strategic recommendations, and presentation of the findings.
- Confidence to scrutinize and share the limitations of our analyses when the data isn’t perfect.

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands
- Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily.
- Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment.
- Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, from a remote office location. Regular travel to the Dublin Corporate office for meetings will be necessary.

$150,000 – $220,000. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Other compensation may include a 20% Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) bonus paid out according to policy. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
