Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager for the ARMY Division.

JOB DETAILS

LOCATION: WSMR, NM (On-site)

JOB STATUS: Full Time

TRAVEL: Estimated Up to 20%

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

EDUCATION:  BS in Engineering from an ABET accredited college/university or…an integrated Business-Engineering program

EXPERIENCE LEVEL:  Ten (10) years of demonstrated engineering and management experience on contracts OR projects with organizational responsibilities of a similarly complex nature and financial scope

SECURITY CLEARANCE:  TOP SECRET

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Master’s degree in an engineering field.
• Work experience AND demonstrated leadership responsibilities on at least three large projects or programs utilizing civil, mechanical, computer, electrical and electronics engineering disciplines.
• Experience reviewing and approving the work of project managers, engineers, support staff and contract administrative personnel.
• Two (2) years of experience demonstrated knowledge of, or education in the DOD contracting process.
• Two (2) years of experience demonstrated knowledge of, or education in the DOD acquisition process specifically related to the test career field.
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills with documented supervisory experience
• Well-organized, results-oriented, energetic, team player with proven decision-making ability Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to prepare documents, financial reports, and communication.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Organizes, plans, schedules, and controls all support and engineering work.
• Obligates the company regarding contractual and financial matters.
• Serves as the primary liaison with the Government and must have a technical and administrative grasp of all contractual requirements.
• Supervises all Contractor personnel engaged on this contract.
• Responsible for day-to-day operations including cost control, planning, reporting and project schedules.
• Manage all resources to implement work requirements to their timely and successful completion.
