Harness Assembly
Location: Apopka, FL
Schedule: Monday to Friday 7AM-5PM
Pay: $13 DOE

Candidates will be assembling cable harnesses for control panels. Candidates duties will include:

• Read, interpret and understand the tasks that are laid out on the schematics or drawings
• Position and install the parts (wires, connectors, pushbuttons, switches, lights, etc.) according to pre-established time and quality standards
• Execute required tests and validations to ensure electrical connectivity
• Make minor repairs as required according to procedure
• Install and secure protective treatments over parts
• Inspect the work according to Quality Plan procedures
• Crimping, striping and splicing of wire to create full assemblies to use in the panels.

Qualifications

• Frequently lift up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Experience with use of hand tools including crimpers, wire cutters and drills
• Experience in wire harness assembly preferred but not required
• Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
• Ability to follow instructions from a drawing or blueprint
