Infrahire is looking for a Lead Structural Engineer in Springfield, IL

STRUCTURAL PROJECT MANAGER

A multi-disciplined civil engineering and surveying firm servicing both private and public sectors in Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin, Iowa, Indiana, and Florida. We are a certified DBE/WBE community-oriented consulting firm specializing in design, planning, surveying, structural analysis, construction inspection and environmental studies for state DOTS, tollway, municipalities, utility companied including residential, commercial, and industrial development projects. We are seeking a dynamic Structural Project Manager to join our team on a full-time basis in our St. Louis, MO or Springfield, IL Office .

Responsibilities

• Act as Project Manager or Lead Engineer on projects under the direction of the company Chief Structural Engineer

• Utilize current technology and engineering software on projects

• Take a proactive role in business development activities

• Commit to quality and continuous improvement

• Develop junior structure staff

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years related work experience preferably with transportation structure projects
• BS in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis required, MS in Structural Engineering preferred
• Missouri or Illinois PE license required; Illinois SE license is a plus
• Software knowledge including MS Office, Microstation and structural analysis programs
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of IDOT and ISTHA design standards and analysis desired
