Regional Sales Manager – Machine Vision – Automated Welding Applications
CLIENT is a privately held Machine Vision Technology company, providing products and services used to improve quality control in manufacturing processes. CLIENT currently offers two main products: inspection solutions for the global welded metal tube industry and camera solutions for the welding industry. CLIENT are based in Canada and offer exceptional products and services to help our customers deliver quality welded products.
We are seeking an Account Manager to increase our sales penetration and continue our growth in the Eastern Region of the US.
Main Responsibilities:
· Extensive end-user prospecting to generate new demand for our products.
· Maintain and develop relationships with current customers.
· Focus on developing and nurturing our Distributor channel.
· Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
· Leverage our Salesforce CRM to maximize the activities in the territory.
· Obtain feedback on our products and services to identify future business opportunities.
· Identify industry trends and report insights to the Product Management team.
· Attend industry trade shows to generate new leads and make productive contact with existing clients.
· Significant overnight travel required.
· Qualifications required:
· Engineering degree or Technology certificate preferred.
· Min. 5 years’ experience successfully selling technology-oriented products in the welding industry or a technical degree in engineering.
· Min. 5 years’ experience growing sales with independent sales agents and distributors
· Experience using a CRM system for territory planning.
· Proficient with MS Office products, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Teams
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Strong presentation skills
