Your Role in Our Journey
As the Vice President of Sales for our North American operations, you'll play a pivotal role under the guidance of our President. Your primary goal will be to drive our annual Sales Budget to fruition, a target set by our esteemed Senior Leadership Team. Your arsenal will include developing distribution channels, crafting and executing sales strategies, generating accurate sales forecasts, and analyzing our product portfolio's effectiveness. You'll also be responsible for setting long-term sales goals, budgeting, and ensuring we meet our annual sales and margin objectives.

What You'll Do
Chart the strategic direction for our North American Sales team, fostering innovation and expansion.
Collaborate closely with Marketing and Product Management to devise and implement effective channel and distribution strategies.
Spearhead our efforts to widen our customer base and penetrate new markets, particularly through our Target Market / Plan & Spec Project business.
Design and implement pricing policies and partner programs to reward and recognize our top distributors and representatives across North America.
Lead a dynamic sales organization by providing training, motivation, and establishing regional sales objectives.
Work alongside Product Management in the Strategic Product Planning process to introduce and market new products successfully.
Develop comprehensive sales plans that align with our company's goals for growth and profitability, while promoting teamwork across our facilities.
Deliver regular, detailed reports on sales performance and market trends to key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and other industry events, negotiating with customers to secure the best outcomes for both parties.

Who We're Looking For
A leader with proven interpersonal and leadership skills, capable of inspiring a team to achieve greatness.
Someone with a strong analytical mind, excellent communication abilities, and a knack for strategic thinking.
A highly motivated and results-oriented individual, with a keen sense of business and financial acumen.
A sales executive with 5-10 years of field sales experience, preferably with a background in commercial and industrial project sales, and an understanding of distribution sales dynamics.
A visionary with at least two to three years in a leadership role (Director or higher) in a commercial/industrial sales environment.
A candidate with a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, or Marketing. An MBA is preferred.

Job Conditions
This role involves prolonged periods of desk work and computer use, with occasional light physical effort required.
The position requires a minimum of 50% travel to meet regional needs, involving both ground and air travel.
The work environment includes office settings, as well as factory, warehouse, and distribution center locations, with potential exposure to machinery noise and operation.
