Job description
The Human Resources Supervisor / HR Business Partner reports directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and plays a pivotal role in the organization's human resources function. This position is primarily responsible for overseeing the complete onboarding process for field personnel while providing comprehensive administrative support for day-to-day HR operations. Duties include meticulous record-keeping, profile maintenance, and proficient utilization of the HRIS system within JDE.
Work Schedule: The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Primary Job Function:
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for all new hires.
- Ensure compliance by verifying completion of physical questionnaires and authorization for work.
- Collaborate with the OQ & Training Department to validate PEC Tests and facilitate PEC card lookup.
- Skillfully navigate HRIS systems to accurately input data in JDE and provide guidance to applicants completing onboarding processes in Click Boarding.
- Assist in maintaining and tracking driver qualification files in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) and Department of Transportation (DOT) standards for DOT drivers.
- Facilitate I9 E-Verify processing, meticulously reviewing and processing all identifications to determine eligibility to work in the US.
- Manage the reception and distribution of DOT Test Result History Verifications, ensuring accurate tracking and document uploads.
- Provide support to other support functions and maintain general office operations, including telephone communication, data entry, supply procurement, shipping and receiving, and visitor reception.
- Implement and uphold meticulous filing systems and adhere to best practices in recordkeeping within HRIS and SharePoint to safeguard HR information confidentiality.
- Offer support to the Human Resources team in the implementation of HR policies and programs.
- Conduct audits of new hire documentation and other recordkeeping processes.
- Perform administrative support duties as needed, assisting managers and contributing to various projects as directed.
- Undertake other ad-hoc projects as assigned by HR Managers.
- Foster a positive organizational culture.
Experience:
- Prior experience in the Oil & Gas Industry is preferred.
- Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Human Resources or other office/administrative roles required.
- Previous experience in an office or professional environment is advantageous.
Education/Training:
- High School Diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
