Role Summary
As the Vice President of Technology, you will spearhead the development of our product roadmap and lead the technological direction of our company. This pivotal role involves maintaining our existing systems and guiding all technology-related decisions to support our information operations. Your leadership will be crucial in realizing our strategic objectives, fostering growth, and affirming our position as industry leaders.
Key Responsibilities
Craft annual business and comprehensive IT system plans aligned with our strategic vision.
Oversee all technology operations, including application development, system platforms, networks, system support, data security, and communications.
Set clear IT management and production priorities in partnership with the leadership team.
Manage administrative functions like budgeting, hardware procurement, and vendor negotiations.
Continually assess IT performance and champion improvements.
Lead and nurture a high-performing IT team, setting goals and evaluating performance.
Foster strong relationships with IT stakeholders, both within and outside the organization.
Ensure the security, maintenance, and testing of software and information systems.
Collaborate with technology providers to ensure our business needs translate into effective technical solutions.
Strategize long-term staffing, hardware, systems, networking, and security to support business growth and ensure compliance.
Oversee technology strategies, policies, and vendor outsourcing frameworks.
Manage all IT aspects of our stores and e-commerce platform, including software development, system uptime, security, inventory, pricing, and sales integrations.
Desired Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role within technology (S/VP, Director, or equivalent).
Over 10 years of comprehensive IT management experience.
Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA with a focus on Information Technology Management is highly desirable.
