Overview



The Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics seeks a Facilities and Logistics Coordinator to manage the Icahn loading dock and provide operations, facilities, purchasing, and business support in the Institute. This position will work closely with the Operations and Purchasing Manager, to whom the position will directly report, on Icahn building operations as well as purchasing and business functions while also being directly responsible for receiving and delivering equipment, supplies, and other packages at the Icahn loading dock.

The Facilities and Logistics Coordinator will assist the Operations and Purchasing Manager with responding to building and equipment emergencies, submitting work orders for building and equipment maintenance, and provide back-up coverage in his absence. The Facilities and Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for the upkeep of all Institute building directories.

Business and Purchasing Functions:

Capital Equipment and Asset Management and Compliance:

The successful candidate must be flexible and willing to cover a variety of roles at the Institute; the candidate will need to work set hours that coincide with the loading dock hours. Dock must be attended from 8:00AM to 4:00PM, Mon-Fri.
