The Inpatient Respiratory Therapist will join a Portland Area non-profit organization which has earned national recognition for excellence in a wide variety of specialties. This 200+ Bed medical center is specifically known for its excellence in Stroke management, and has earned the Joint Commission Advanced Certification as a Primary Care Stroke Center as well as the American Heart Association Stroke Gold Plus Quality Award.
The Inpatient Respiratory Therapist will work with a team of experienced Registered Respiratory Therapists and will report to the Respiratory Therapy Services Manager. The Inpatient Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing high quality, efficient care to patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary disease. They will work on a variety of units including Medical-Surgical, Acute Rehabilitation and Intensive Care units. They will provide services such as providing breathing treatments and monitoring ventilated patients. The Inpatient Respiratory Therapist will consistently assess and document their patient's ongoing symptoms and progress.
