Job description

A well-established, forward-thinking practice in Hebron, Kentucky is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team.

You will treat small animals and also have the opportunity of treating exotic pets. You will be supported by highly skilled and dedicated colleagues who are collaborative and team oriented. They are also fear free certified which leads to low stress handling ensuring that pet patients are calm and relaxed.

The facility is equipped with excellent diagnostic, medical and surgical equipment. The practice is full-service which includes diagnostics, internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, wellness and preventative care to name a few. They also offer house calls for the extra comfort of pet patients.

Above all, our client is seeking a practitioner who possesses a can-do attitude, compassion, empathy and motivation to provide exceptional care to clients.

Experience is preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply as practice wants to help you flourish!

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• DVM/VMD/NAVLE degree or equivalent from an accredited university
• DEA License (can be acquired upon hire)
• Kentucky State License
• Proficient surgical and medical experience
• A compassionate and energetic veterinarian
• A strong communicator who loves building rapport and long-lasting relationships with clients
• A person who possesses strong emotional intelligence and is a team player
