Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to ensure the overall upkeep and functionality of our childcare center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general maintenance, attention to detail, and a commitment to creating a clean and safe environment for children, staff, and parents.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address any safety or maintenance issues promptly.
- Collaborate with center management to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment for special events and activities.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in building maintenance, preferably in a childcare or educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
- Ability to troubleshoot and address issues promptly and efficiently.

- Event Setup and Breakdown:
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of equipment and materials for special events, activities, or meetings held within the childcare center.
- Keep track of maintenance supplies and equipment inventory.
