Senior System Engineer, Satellite Tracking Antennas
BASIC FUNCTION You’ll be a member of a cross functional technical development team responsible for ensuring designs are being developed and delivered on time, on budget, and are the highest technical quality to meet our customer’s mission.
- Team leader responsible for interpreting customer requirements via necessary meetings and creating documentation by generating system block diagrams, antenna, and pedestal schematics and supporting other documentation like BOM, system analysis report, satellite link budget, power budget, etc.
- Product requirements documents into System Design, Requirements Verification
- Traceability Matrix (RVTM), Test plans to meet requirements .
- Excellent presentation skills and written communication supporting the design reviews as a part of product design life cycles.
- Ability to diagnose complex system-level problems, creation of system assemblies, using of VNA, spectrum analyzer, RF testing, signal generator, power distribution, multimeter, etc. is expected.
- Practical knowledge of NFPA-70, UL, CSA, IEC, MIL, CE, R&TTE, RED standards, and qualifying systems against those standards is expected.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, RF cables/waveguides, various types of coax cables, RF couplers, block-up converters, block converters, tracking receivers, coax switches, attenuators, modems, etc. is expected.
- All other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS :
To perform this job successfully, one must be able to create documentation, drawings, systems diagrams, spreadsheet, BOM and reports (60% of your time)

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: BSEE, BSEET, BS Engineering, BS computer science, Mechatronics Engineering Technology degree . A minimum of 2 years of experience in the development and delivery of High-Tech Electromechanical systems. System Engineering experience in multiple systems engineering roles, including operations concept development, requirements management, functional analysis, interface definition and control, verification, and validation
. Concord, CA, This is an onsite position for 90-day training period. After training one can work remote 2 days per week depending on workloads.
COMPUTER SKILLS :
AutoCAD, Visio, Teams, Power Point, Microsoft Excel, Word, & Outlook – intermediate level required. Experience using
an Oracle Agile ERP system is preferred.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES: EIT or PE (Nice to have)
