Amprius develops, designs, and manufactures very high-performance lithium-ion cells for advanced applications. Amprius invented and perfected a 100% silicon anode which enables the highest energy density cell commercially available in the industry.
Summary
We are looking for a high-performing Inside Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing our team’s potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those plans to the upper management. You will monitor sales metrics and manage the entire sales administration process. This is a highly visible role in which you will collaborate and communicate cross-departmentally.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and support operations required to implement the organizational sales strategy, drive revenue growth, and accomplish financial objectives.
- Direct and coordinate sales activities.
- Coordinate department projects and meet deadlines.
- Report on sales metrics and suggest improvements
- Report customer feedback for product improvement and generate ideas about new features or products.
- Liaise with Marketing and Product Development teams to ensure brand consistency and increase sales
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of our products and offerings
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
- Handling customer inquiries quickly and effectively
Miscellaneous Job Responsibilities
- Represent Amprius at tradeshow and other industry events as-needed
- Performs other job-related responsibilities and duties, as assigned.
Requirements
- BA in Business Administration or a related field
- 3+ years of successful experience as a Sales Representative or Inside Sales Manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing
- Experience using CRM to manage the sales process and forecast sales
- Experience in Manufacturing Sales
- Strong Sales Management background
- Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- On-site in Fremont, CA
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Be able to lift up to 20 pounds at a time
Travel: Domestic and International Travel availability required
Benefits
- Comprehensive compensation package includes base salary + RSUs. Salary range for this role is $65.000 - $115,000 (DOE)
