Job description
Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)
Rate: DOE
Position Summary:
The Staff Accountant will have 3-5 years general ledger experience, with the ability to perform daily accounting reconciliations and journal entries to support an accurate and timely month-end and year-end close.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with corporate month-end close process.
- Prepare monthly journal entries
- Reconcile General Ledger accounts
- Liaise with Business owners/Regional Offices to resolve all reconciling issues as needed
- Prepare or maintain supporting schedules for balance sheet accounts.
- Perform income statement account analysis
- Perform miscellaneous accounting related projects.
- Support preparation for Year-end Audit
