Join a new and exciting opportunity to protect national security and provide premier mission focused IT services for a dynamic and growing program. Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented System Administrator, Senior, to join our team in San Antonio, TX.
In this role, you will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems and manage IT system infrastructure as well as any processes related to problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional related experience may be substituted for a degree.
At least 15 years of related experience.
LINUX/Red Hat experience.
IAT Level II certification.
Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
Must be able to perform expert-level troubleshooting.
Support the design of systems, mission architecture and associated hardware.
Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration.
Demonstrated experience with modern automation/configuration tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience/Familiarization with full lifecycle management of Linux systems, to include provisioning, configuration management and patching.
Red Hat Certified System Administration Certification.
Security Clearance Requirements:
Current/Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Physical Requirements:
