Job description

The Department of Interactive Media at Bradley University seeks a dynamic individual to join our award-winning and nationally ranked department as a Front End Extended Reality (XR) Developer on a government awarded subcontract. U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.


This is a non-exempt (hourly) position, working a minimum 30 hours per week and is 100% externally funded, subject to external funding for a maximum of 3 years. Incumbent may work remotely.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years professional development experience working with established companies. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing immersive 3D applications and experiences using technologies such as Unity and the Microsoft HoloLens. Your expertise in Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Mixed Reality (MR) solutions will be crucial in creating engaging and interactive user experiences.

A successful candidate should possess experience in:

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Appointment requires a bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent years of experience and evidence of successful production experience in creative works and/or industry. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
