This position is for an Immediate Start within School Year 23/24. The mission of Texas Virtual Academy at Hallsville is to provide an exemplary individualized and engaging educational experience for students by incorporating school and community/family partnerships coupled with a rigorous curriculum along with a data-driven and student-centered instructional model. Student success will be measured by valid and reliable assessment data, parent and student satisfaction, and continued institutional growth within the academic community. Join us!
This position is funded by State Compensatory Education funds. The primary purpose is to maintain data for students in at-risk programs for the purpose of tracking growth as compared to closing academic gaps between students who are at-risk and the general population.
This is a full-time REMOTE position. Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week is required. Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during workday, typically 9-5 (or 8-4) or as defined by the school. This position offers a rate around $17 an hour. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
- Design and produce weekly reports for state compensatory education program
- Analyze data for program effectiveness and collaborate to present data regarding program effectiveness
- Track growth measures on BOY, MOY, EOY, and Interims as needed
- Compile student academic information for intervention program
- Maintain database of students active in the RTI program
THIS POSITION MAY PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED IN ALIGNMENT WITH THE SCE PROGRAM. DUTIES THIS POSITION MAY NOT PERFORM: - Duties related to testing, such as test administration
- Perform legislatively mandated duties or activities that are specifically allocated to a regular education position in the Texas Education Code
- Activities or duties that would supplement anything other than the regular education program, such as parent/family liaison
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's Degree AND
- Advanced Excel skills
- Three (3) years of relevant experience with data analysis
Certificates and Licenses: None required
Residency Requirements : Texas
OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Proficient with Access or similar database program
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Effective customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience in developing reports and/or dashboards
- Texas Residency
- Ability to pass background check
