Job Description
The visual Merchandising Manager will work directly along side the VM Director, to help oversee the retail merchandising standards and needs within the company. This role will also be responsible for training of field merchants, coordinating visual related collateral, guiding and creating in-store directives, overseeing all visual displays and guidelines. The Visual Merchandising Manager will work directly with store managers to ensure consistent and timely execution of daily and seasonal product displays while aligning with brand standards.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing the coordination of all visual merchandising standards within stores.
- Develop training tools for field merchants and retail stores.
- Manage the development and create new systems for improving VM standards and workflow.
- Actively communicate with the VM director, the needs of stores and plans for visual rollouts.
- Manage and upkeep brand aesthetic within stores while ensuring proper execution of all window installs, floor sets, mannequin presentations and overall layout of merchandise within the stores.
- Assist VM Director in the creation and launch of seasonal directives for stores.
- Maintain 3rd party vendor relations while coordinating visual assets for stores.
- Manage project scheduling needs for the department, retail stores, district managers and overall VM calendar for field merchants.
- Manage reports and feedback from the retail teams on any visual needs.
- Attend visual merchandising meetings and training sessions to help upkeep an up-to date knowledge of best trends and practices.
- Visit local stores weekly, work closely with field merchants and managers to help support where needed.
- Travel as needed, for merchandising flips and new store openings.
- Manage merch planning process and product mapping for stores.
- Manage ongoing primary and secondary fixture needs within stores in addition to ordering VM fixture needs.
- Use IWD software for creating visual directives.

- Must be able and willing to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
- Must have the ability for repetitive physically body movements. I.e., bending, stooping, reaching, squatting, kneeling, pushing and pulling.
- Must have the ability to climbing ladders to execute duties.
- Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time within each day.
- Must have valid driver's license for transportation needs.

- Capable of implementing VM direction and aesthetic while making adjustments based off constructive feedback.
- Positive and team oriented attitude within a high energy environment.
- Willing to work a flexible schedule based on department needs and consistently evolving schedule.
- Capable of independently problem solving in a timely matter.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience managing direct reports while meeting training and development needs.
- Proficient in Apple products and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and the use of digital cameras/phones.
- Excellent grammar, written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail, prioritization, organization and time-management skills.
- Experience working within a corporate environment.
- Hands on knowledge of store window execution and vinyl install.
- Experience using basic hardware and tools for visual maintenance as needed.

Pay Range: $85,000-$100,000/yr
