Overview

Do you have passion for and experience in the gaming industry, slot game design, and leading teams?  IGT is looking for someone to lead the amazing team of game producers in Vibe Studio.

Responsibilities

The producer manager guides producer talent as a people manager. Works closely with the Sr. Director of Game Development in shaping producer and game development processes, maintaining team engagement and morale, monitoring the roadmap from the perspective of bandwidth and strategy, and providing suggestions and solutions for product improvement where applicable. #LI-JU1

The producer manager must be highly skilled at: 

• Managing employees who perform similar or related tasks; has direct reports.
• Providing mentorship and direction to Producers, providing regular feedback that helps them move forward in their day-to-day job functions as well as along their IGT career path.
• Encouraging curiosity and challenging staff to continually develop their creative skills and the overall skill level of the department.
• Conducting regular performance reviews and creating career development plans for personnel.
• Attracting, retaining, and motivating a high-performing creative team through the creation and maintenance of a collaborative and supportive development culture. 

Qualifications

• Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree in Gaming, Design, Mathematics or equivalent preferred
• 7+ years of experience in the role of Producer, Game Designer, or Game Mathematician preferred.
• Brings a solid and relevant portfolio that includes unique, successful, and relevant projects in the casino gaming industry. 
• Has demonstrated experience via multiple shipped titles in a lead role with oversight of a development team or design group.
• Has demonstrated ability to communicate product vision and align creative vision with both internal partners and an intended market.
• Experience collaborating with teams of strategists, creatives, designers, producers, account managers and content developers.
• Experience managing and cultivating the career development or staff members.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the gaming industry; understanding of roadmap/product line strategy preferred.
• Position level may be adjusted up/down based on the qualifications of the successful candidate.
