Wittenberg is seeking an Assistant or Associate Director of Enrollment Operations. This detail-oriented person will maintain and manage daily operations in the Office of Admission CRM, Technolutions Slate. This person will create and maintain applications and admission processing procedures; build, implement and maintain new functionality available by Slate to enhance new student enrollment and serve as a resource for other staff members; and assist with the documentation of standardized policies and procedures, This is a full-time, exempt-level position reporting to the Vice President of Enrollment Management.

Essential functions include, but are not limited to:

Create and manage applications:

• Coordinate with admission staff to plan annual changes
• Configure updates during Cycle Prep
• Create and maintain documentation
• Manage all communications and applicant data through Slate
• Responsible for data integrity for prospective students and applicants, including but not limited to reconciling duplicate records, evaluating and uploading data and documents, and resolving data import/export issues

Manage and coordinate Slate processes with operations and counseling teams:

• Support staff in developing queries, reports and forms in Slate
• Support the development and creation of user permissions and security protocols in Slate
• Explore improvements to business processes within Slate
• Provide documentation, testing and staff training for new features in Slate

Maintain deposited student records:

• Process all deposits into Slate and initiate the rollover process for data to be imported into Colleague
• Reconcile weekly deposits of cash, checks and electronic deposits with the Office of Student Accounts
• Manually add parent data and link to deposited student records in Colleague
• Maintain the official record of all deposits and paid withdrawals to share with campus constituents
• Coordinate with the Office of the Registrar to ensure accurate end of year numbers

Provide office support and supervise Enrollment Coordinator to handle the following responsibilities:

• Distribute incoming mail within the office
• Review and respond to emails sent to the general admission email address
• Hire, train and manage the workflow of 3-4 student employees
• Effectively organize and prioritize work for self and student employees based on office needs

Perform other relevant duties as assigned such as special projects, programs, and developmental activities.

Job Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
• 1 - 3 years of relevant working experience is required.
• Experience using Technolutions Slate CRM required.
• Experience using Ellucian Colleague preferred. 
• Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint) and other software, databases and equipment as assigned.
• Effective written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage shifting priorities.
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a team, but also be able to exercise initiative and work independently.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate data and make decisions or recommendations.
• Strong technical skills to learn and use external systems, including importing and exporting data.
• Close attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to learn and use Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Colleague and Slate.
• Ability to remain stationary and work using a computer for a full workday.
• Ability to routinely move and transport equipment and supplies weighing up to 40 pounds with assistance.

A hybrid/remote work schedule may be considered for the ideal candidate.
