Job description
The Clinical Assistant- Manager ensure that patient care activities are standardized.?? The Clinical Assistant-Manager also ensures that indirect patient care activities are standardized across all locations, including ordering and stocking clinical supplies and patient education materials, transporting patients and specimens as needed, and monitoring the environment of care.
Reporting to the Nurse Director of the designated infusion/exam practice(s) the Clinical Assistant-Manager is responsible for ensuring the clinical care delivered by Clinical Assistants and workflows are consistent across all exam and infusion departments.?? The Clinical Assistant-Manager is responsible for day-to-day clinical assistant oversight and the lead CA role.?? Responsibilities include but are not limited to the coordination and supervision of lead clinical assistant staff.?? The Clinical Assistant-Manager provides clinical leadership and management to the clinical assistant team and promotes professional growth for self and staff.?? The Clinical Assistant-Manager demonstrates broad thinking, collaboration, and facilitation of learning and advocacy for patients and staff.?? Manager acts as the clinical assistant expert and mentor and maintains competency for clinical assistant staff.?? Specific duties and responsibilities may vary across the different programs and areas.
