Job description
Our law firm is looking for an attorney who is ready to represent our existing client base. The ideal candidate will work closely with the firm’s clients, administrative staff, and senior partners. Responsibilities:
- Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs
- Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients’ needs after analysis
- Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence
- Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome
- Manage administrative assistants, paralegals, and law clerks
- Helping businesses resolve complex legal issues
- Explaining business laws and their legal implications to businesses
- Drafting and filing paperwork to be submitted in court
- Negotiating contract terms on behalf of the businesses
- Preparing and assisting clients with settlement claims
- Ensuring that the business processes adhere to the State and Federal laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Ability to use Microsoft Office is required
- Successful completion of accredited law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree with 2 years of related experience
- Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required
- Over 1 year of experience representing clients in a law firm
