ABOUT THIS JOB:
This is a key staff role, responsible for:
- Keeping current and accurate financial, membership, worship and personnel records
- Handling deposits, disbursements and payroll
- Creating reports, and helping the staff team, program leaders and church members
- 32 hours per week. Work schedule is negotiable.
- Salary range $40,000 - $43,000

St. Mary's is the downtown Episcopal church in Eugene, Oregon. This church family is active and caring, both for its members and the community. The parish sponsors worship, education, fellowship, pastoral care, and outreach ministries for the spiritual growth of members and the good of the community.
ABOUT YOU:
Ideal candidates will have:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Basic mathematical, bookkeeping, accounting and financial management skills
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
- Proficiency in records management and report creation
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Knowledge of, or ability to quickly learn, Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, Church Windows, and other software and office equipment
- Experience with payroll and personnel
