Job description
If you are a Construction Foreman with structural steel or steel fabrication experience, please read on.
We are looking for an experienced Foreman to join our team and oversee complex projects in our Structural Steel and Steel Fabrication workshops. The ideal candidate should have excellent Project Management, Structural Steel, Steel Fabrication, and Steel Design skills. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and motivating a team of workers, as well as assigning tasks, ensuring safety standards are adhered to, and overseeing the budget.
Key Responsibilities:
• Developing plans, schedules, and quality control processes for projects
• Overseeing material and labor costs, and staying within budget
• Ensuring all safety regulations are followed
• Motivating and managing workers to ensure tasks are completed on time and of the highest quality
• Documenting progress and reporting to management
• Trouble-shooting problems and assisting with technical issues
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in a Foreman role and Project Management
• Strong knowledge of Structural Steel, Steel Fabrication, and Steel Design
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to motivate a team and maintain a safe working environment
• High attention to detail and the ability to adhere to tight deadlines
