Note: This position will be hired on a rolling basis as needed. Applicants are encouraged to get their application in as soon as possible.
Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to perform specialized and relief bus driving activities in the Transportation Department. Distinguished from Bus Driver (Regular or Special Needs) by the ability to know all bus routes and drive in relief of any bus driver with very little advance notice. Drives buses to safely transport students between bus stops and schools, on field trips, or as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications • Valid Oregon Commercial Driver's License with applicable endorsements.
• Valid Oregon Department of Education School Bus Driver's Certificate.
• Valid first aid card.
• Successful completion of core classes, training in first-aid, a physical examination, and faultless driving record.
