RF Design Engineer | West Chester, Ohio
Direct hire | Onsite
Kelly® Engineering is seeking multiple RF Design Engineers for a direct hire position for their client in West Chester, OH. Our client is a global leader in providing mission-critical engineered electronic components and subsystems.
Client is open to assisting with relocation expenses.
In this role, the RF Design Engineers will be providing quality designs, analysis, and validation of co-site equipment for military communication applications to ensure strong, reliable communications in the field.
Responsibilities
Design high performance RF products; responsible for projects from start to finish
Design for low loss, high linearity, EMI/EMC, reliability, and thermal performance
Direct design to accomplish cost, size, weight, power and manufacturability objectives
Direct workflow of PCB designers to assure superior RF performance of layouts
Integrate necessary analog and digital interfaces or controls
Design for EMI/EMC, reliability, and thermal performance
Develop performance validation methodology and production test/alignment processes
Validate new designs for specification compliance
Function effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary design team
Support sales and marketing
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
Experience designing co-site mitigation equipment and/or radio equipment
Experience in RF filter and amplifier design, supporting circuitry, impedance matching, evaluating performance tradeoffs, and analysis
Demonstrated project leadership ability
Strong willingness to collaborate, sharing information between product lines, departments and MPG sites
Must have excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to effectively and efficiently communicate with the customer (both internal and external)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university required
Experience with AWR Microwave Office or similar package highly desired
Experience with military standards and specifications highly desired
Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder due to working on military products
