Job Description:

RightSourcing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Behavioral Health Adult Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in behavioral health and possess the skills necessary to provide compassionate care to adult patients with mental health disorders.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct assessments of adult patients with behavioral health issues, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance abuse disorders, and psychotic disorders.
2. Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or advanced practice providers.
4. Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, adjusting care plans as necessary.
5. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records.
7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure comprehensive care coordination.
8. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
2. Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of [insert state].
3. Minimum of two years of experience in behavioral health nursing.
4. Knowledge of psychiatric disorders, evidence-based treatments, and psychopharmacology.
5. Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
7. Proficiency in electronic health record documentation.
8. CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers).
