Role : Technical Writer - II

Location : Irving, TX - 75038

Duration : 6 Months

Shift Timings : 8 AM to 5 PM

- 100% Onsite role.
- Local candidates only.


Skills Looking For:
- The project involves creating training and educational content for internal focusing on Illini care products.
- This includes both eLearning and hybrid training materials covering various topics such as sales and technical training.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Experience in developing training materials.
- Collaboration with subject matter experts.
- Experience with tools like Camtasia Studio, Audacity, Articulate Storyline, and Articulate Rise.
- The primary focus will be on creating training guides, quick reference guides, and standard procedure documents. Occasionally, they may also work on customer-facing documentation.
- Analyze the information that is required for the creation of the training guides, and standard procedure documentation. They should be able to author it or they should be able to even review or edit the existing documentation.
- Use the existing documentation to create new documentation for the end users.
- Proofreading will be part of the job, ensuring the accuracy and quality of the documents created.
- Day-to-day responsibilities: Collaborating closely with subject matter experts; Developing training materials using authoring tools; Ensuring timely completion of projects and meeting milestones; Maintaining communication with stakeholders throughout the project.



Education and Level of Experience :
- Bachelor's degree with 2 to 4 years of experience.
- Candidates with over five to seven years of experience may be considered overqualified.



Top 3 Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Experience in creating training materials
- Collaboration and communication skills.



Interview Process:
- Minimum of two to three interview rounds and one final round will be onsite. So candidates need to be local.
- Candidates may be asked to provide samples of their previous work.
