About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Marketing Consultant – Email Channel in the Channel Strategy and Revenue Optimization group. This role does not execute email campaigns. Rather, the team establishes guidelines for proper channel use, monitors channel usage, ensures adherence to rules and regulations governing email, and collaborates with Marketing teams to improve campaign performance while maintaining overall channel health. Responsibilities Include:
+ Assist with Email Channel strategy and governance to maximize the impact of the email channel as an enterprise asset
+ Work cross-functionally to ensure that adherence to rules and regulations that govern email are applied at various email service providers used across the bank.
+ Enhance, gain alignment on, and implement data-driven channel strategies including channel rules, exclusion/inclusion logic and contact frequency
+ Contribute to cross- LOB email campaign monitoring and prioritization through historical and scenario analysis
+ Be part of Stakeholder Governance Forums and participate in Marketing Leadership Council Forums to socialize roadmaps, project updates, and channel performance insights and recommendations
+ Contribute to the development of an email learning agenda and roadmap to continuously improve channel performance and partner with the operations and technology teams to launch programs
+ Partner with the analytics team to identify the key drivers of the customer behavior, engagement, and identify actionable insights from customer data to continually improve the channel efficacy
+ Define, track, and optimize channel, product, and consumer engagement Key Point Indicators (KPIs) to deliver marketing impact in connection to business strategy and goals across open rates, unsubscribes, spam reports, Clickthrough Rates (CTRs), conversion rates, customer engagement, and channel health
+ Advance email channel effectiveness via the deployment of new capabilities for targeting, personalization, customer experience, and measurement/analytics
+ Contribute to planning, requirements, and expert consultation for new capabilities, experiences, and methodologies
+ Advocate and assist in the adoption of new capabilities via pilots and roll outs with multi-disciplinary teams
+ Collaborate with Analytic partners to measure impacts of new capabilities and experiences on customer and business outcomes and identify areas of optimization
+ Support change management initiatives to socialize and train marketers on new requirements and processes related to email channel capabilities enhancements
+ Provide thoughtful leadership to marketing and non-marketing stakeholders and champion marketing segmentation, customer centricity, enterprise governance, and analytical solutions as the underpinning of successful marketing
In this role, you will:
+ Lead complex initiatives and work across functional teams to strategize, plan and ensure execution of a variety of marketing, development strategies and programs with broad impact
+ Act as key participant in complex marketing analysis, customer retention, customer profile, sales and profitability for marketing
+ Participate and lead complex cross-functional groups to create, edit, and manage digital content for more advanced marketing campaigns, programs or initiatives that enable seamless customer engagement across all digital channels
+ Make decisions in projecting or forecasting future marketing needs
+ Analyze and interpret trends to ensure adherence to legal, compliance, privacy regulations and policies related to marketing
+ Collaborate and consult with cross enterprise, cross lines of business, vendor relationships and cross functional resources on highly complex initiatives to achieve marketing deliverables
+ Manage a team or lead virtual cross functional teams
Required Qualifications, US:
+ 5+ years of Marketing, E-business, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms (i.e. Mobile or Social Media) experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
+ 2+ years of Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience
Desired Qualifications:
+ Experience with executing on email marketing platform governance and strategy
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to translate complex concepts into simplified solutions in an understandable manner to multiple stakeholders, including senior leaders
+ Demonstrated experience in various types of email: Conversion, Engagement, Journeys and Ad Hoc campaigns
+ Ability to achieve objectives requiring a high-level of cooperation from cross-functional partners on other teams
+ Ability to lead without authority and influence others to improve channel effectiveness
+ Ability to identify and evaluate trends, isolate root cause, and provide swift/thorough resolution
+ Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
+ Experience creating pivot tables and performing data analysis in Excel
+ Intermediate Microsoft PowerPoint skills
+ Experience creating PowerPoint presentations
Job Expectations:
+ Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
+ This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
