Environment/Schedule:
Able to work in person/on site at the Fort Myers, FL Motorola Solutions office. Schedule can be flexible for home/family requirements. Ability to work alone in the office or with a team. (Shop coverage to allow field teams to leave)
In person office coverage for deliveries, shipment pickups, and walk in customer requests.
Responsibilities:
Answer phones to handle customer tasks or delineate information to work teams.
Assist work teams with the following:
Paperwork (Tigerpaw, daily task ticketing, processing completed work)
Responsible for accurate reporting in time tracking system (Tigerpaw) each week before deadlines determined by the manager
Data entry tasks
Responsible for processing all expense reports within the Motorola Solutions HR Guidelines
Inventory (Assist with tracking in stock parts quantities and vendors)
Ship equipment for repair and calibration
Order, coordinate and receive equipment, shop supplies and repair parts Bundling inventory for team projects
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for equipment repair/return authorizations.
Complete purchase orders (Coordinate with Accountants and Sales)
Create Installation Agreements (coordination with Accountants and Sales)
Complete in person customer requests (Equipment drop off / pick up documentation)
Contact customers for equipment pickup, small parts and install quotes
Vendor coordination for ordering project parts
Provide administrative support to shop personnel
Organize, arrange, and coordinate meetings
Build and bill quotes for customer projects (not sales)
Processing warranty claims
Schedule/dispatch Technicians
Maintain a clean and enjoyable working environment
NO HEAVY LIFTING, leave that to the team.
Candidate Requirements:
Excellent speaking, writing, organizational skills for an office setting.
Someone familiar with Tigerpaw or similar system
Strong Microsoft Excel / Word skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 11
Familiarity with Google Suite (Drive, Sheets, Docs, Gmail, Meet, etc.)
Basic knowledge of Radio communication and vehicle upfitting is a huge plus.
Bilingual is preferred
Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain background clearance as required by US government customer(s)
This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers.

High school diploma OR 4+ years experience in an Administrative role
