Job Description
Bosch Service Solutions is a 24 x 7 operation that provides several shift options. The Emergency Response Specialist position is responsible for answering incoming emergency calls and providing excellent customer service to customers involved in automobile accidents. We are looking for talented Emergency Response Specialist who possess strong communication and a sense of urgency for our Emergency Response Center located in Fort Lauderdale, FL and Burnsville, MN providing services such as the following:
- Stolen Vehicle Recovery
- Automatic Collision Notification
- Enhanced Roadside Assistance
- Door Lock/Unlock
- Answer emergency calls promptly and gather critical information from callers
- Dispatch appropriate emergency services (police, fire, medical) to the scene
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to callers in distress
- Additional duties as needed

Qualifications
Job Related Experience:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional coursework or certifications in emergency dispatch, telecommunications, or related fields are a plus
- Experience: Previous experience in emergency dispatch, call center operations, or a related field is preferred
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely
- Multi-Tasking: Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, including taking calls, dispatching responders, and monitoring various screens and channels
- Crisis Management: The capacity to remain calm and composed during high-stress situations, make informed decisions, and provide accurate guidance to callers
- Empathy: A compassionate and empathetic approach when dealing with callers, especially in distressing situations
- Cultural Sensitivity: Respect for diversity and a willingness to communicate effectively with callers from various cultural and linguistic backgrounds
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to accurately record information and details provided by callers, including addresses, descriptions, and emergency circumstances
- Stress Management: Proven ability to manage stress and maintain mental resilience during shifts
- Patience: Ability to deal with distressed, confused, or difficult-to-understand callers with patience and professionalism
- Physical and Emotional Resilience: Physical fitness and emotional resilience, as well as coping with the emotional toll of handling distressing situations.
